    DLR model of the human hand. This model was the basis for development of the DLR-Robot hand that was made as close to the human archetype as possible in terms of kinematics, dynamics, and force. Nevertheless the model was not made as a copy of the result of natural evolution, but it was rather built to reproduce the basic functionalities of an human hand transferring them to the technical system.
